Alamo Full Size SUV - what are they usually?

We're picking up a full size SUV from Alamo at SEA later this month. Wondering if anyone else has noticed what they usually have in this group recently?

Thanks

Try to avoid the Commander if you can, it's a Full Size SUV in name only.

I think what gives it that "Full Size SUV" classification is the third row of seating.

So while it technically seats 8 (or maybe it's 7; can't recall), that back row is not for adults.

The stadium-style seating and raised ceiling above the third row actually makes the headroom OK for even my 6' frame, but the floor is almost flush with the seat cushion, meaning there is virtually no place to put your legs.

Not only that but when the third row is up, you have no visibility out the rear window. Furthermore, if the seats are up there's extremely limited luggage storage space behind the seats. Maybe enough for an umbrella or rolled up newspaper.

How long can they keep renting out the Commander? I thought they stopped producing that model last year.

Alamo Full Size SUV.
The vehicles in this class include the
Chevrolet Tahoe,
Dodge Durango,
Ford Expedition,
GMC Yukon and Nissan Armada.
These vehicles will all seat 7 people comfortably

Does anyone know about the 2014 FFAR lineup at Alamo?

I have a reservation for Sep/Oct this year, at IAD, booked FFAR.
So far what I can see there should be mainly three options: Tahoe, Yukon, and Expedition.
Does anyone know if the Armada is still in the fleet? Anyone seen Durangos?
I want to avoid an Armada / Durango / Grand Cherokee, if possible.

Also - a little bit off topic - does anyone know if there is a seperate Choice Line at IAD for Full Size SUVs?

so, can answer my own question now...

IAD does have separate choice lines for cars and SUVs

choice line for cars is only up to full size cars
choice line for suvs is only up to standard size suvs

arrived on sep 12, did not pay attention to the models, but both choice lines did just have a few cars / suvs, not a big selectin

could only see tahoes, yukons and suburbans for FFAR category

alamo counter was busy on sep 12, so i was waived over to the national counter
wanted to get a 2015 tahoe, but the agent would only give me a 2014 one
after some talk he offered us an upgrade to a 2015 yukon xl slt with navigation for 10$/day, which we gladly took

We got a 2015 Yukon in November from MCO, very nice ride. The others were Older Yukons and Tahoes. I rent from MCO quote a lot, it's best to have a look at what you want first then ask for the keys.
