How Strict Is CA With Carry On Weight........
Anyone know how strict CA is on the weight of carry on bags?
I'm flying JFK-PEK-HKG on Thursday and the return on Sunday. I fly with a "book bag' sized backpack , and a belt pack (camera lenses) that I tend to connect with each other. Combined they are well below the carry on size, but they weigh 35lbs (and the contents can't be checked)
Never had anyone weigh my bags at HKG, never been weighed at JFK, but not much experience at PEK flying in Y and never flown CA before.
(and info on flying CA in Y is appreciated at well.....such as how early do the counters open since there is no advance seating.....and is there *G preferred seating?)
