How does MI's "Ticket on Departure" work?
Per Silk Air's website:
"If you choose Collect at airport, also known as "Ticket-on-Departure" (TOD), you will be required to collect your paper ticket at the airport. This option is available only if E-Ticketing is not available in either your departure city or your destination city, or both. Ticket will be available for collection 2 hours before departure."
This sounds like it is, for all practical purposes, the same as an E-Ticket. Or is there a separate collection desk you need to visit before check-in?

Its a paper ticket that's not mailed to you, but you collect it yourself at the airport 2 hours before departure. You cannot checkin without the paper ticket. At some airports, you may need a printout of the purchase confirmation in order to enter through airport security.
