entering BAEC number on SriLankan
Apologies if that has been discussed earlier but I did a 30min search without success.
I cannot make my BAEC number stick in an UL booking. I even tried RJ website.
Is there a trick?

That's just a display error. After entering it correctly, the default when you go back in, is for your number to be diaplayed against Srilankan airlines in the drop down menu, rather than BA. However, it always displays correctly when I get my boarding pass and have learned to accept it's just a display error.

In past (pre-Covid) bookings, I managed to enter my BAEC number easily. Now, with a (post-Covid) "new" website, maybe the booking will need to be completed (paid for) first. Then, I am sure, you be able to enter your number and make seat selections, etc. Otherwise a Skype call to their CS number in CMB will sort it out. +44 94197335555 is a number I used pre-Covid. Check their website for CS in CMB.

The booking in business for 3 pax has been confirmed and paid for, But BAEC number of all pax were not entered when making the booking.
It now shows as empty whenever I reopen the booking , whatever I try.

I expect that the numbers will be saved, just not displaying. The UL website has a virtual assistant, that can also link to a 'live agent'. I expect the agent will confirm that they have your numbers, it's often the easiest/quickest way to get an answer. NB The icon for the virtual assistant is the bottom right handside of the website.

The chat disappears when you open the booking on the website. But it works from the main page. ANd I quickly got a live agent who added the number
