Korean airlines releasing flights only 3 months in advance?
Planning a holiday in Korea and Japan next year. I as looking at flights from Japan to Seoul for July 2023, but it seems like the low cost Korean airlines all stop selling tickets in late March. Except for Korean Air and Asiana, which have their schedule for 300+ day. The rest all stop a little over 3 months from today. Is this common practice for Korean airlines?
Korea Air and Asiana are charging double what Jeju Air, Air Busan, T'Way, Jin Air and Air Seoul charge for the same flights. Should I wait until the July 2023 flights are released or the prices will stay around the same as Korea Air and Asiana for the summer months?

Have you checked some low-cost Japanese carriers, like Peach? They are currently selling tickets for July, at least from Osaka to Seoul. I am also planning to travel from Japan, though I am still deciding on whether to revisit Korea or go to SE Asia after my week in Japan.

I agree. I am looking at flights since I am planning a 2 and a half week trip to Asia starting in Tokyo and ending in Bangkok, so I have to decide on what route to take. I will wait until March/April to buy tickets, but it could be that the OP needs the tickets in hand to get time off or the like, hence the suggestion to look at airlines like Peach.

Maybe it is indeed too early to book my tickets. I guess I just like planning quite ahead of time.

I'm the same way. I got my LAX-Asia/Asia-LAX tickets already, and have taken a look at what new cities in Asia I want to explore. From what I can tell, most sales haven't happened yet, which is why I am waiting for a few months before buying the rest.
