Air China 818 Engine Issues?
 
Does anyone know what happened to Air China Flight 818 (IAD-PEK) today? I was outside when it took off and heard some rather unusual booms every couple seconds, when I looked up I saw the plane but and didn't see anything until it passed and there were flames coming out of one of the engines. I thought it might be a bird strike... Nothing on the local news yet.

Seems it was an engine fire as the Washington Post reported, via FAA info.

Look liek a compressor stall. May be some bird.

Those guys caught it on video with the sound
