Air Asia Early Bag Drop

Hi All,

Im flying KUL - REP next week on the 6.40am flight. Given that the airport is about an hour drive from town, I thought I would stay in one of the airport hotels the night before.

Does anyone know if Air Asia will let me check in my back the night before my flight (say 9 or 10 pm)? Ive searched online and I can only find references to 'check in opens 3 hours before departure'. Given that KLIA2 operates throughout the night I was hoping I could drop my bags the night before and stroll over from the hotel an hour or so before departure.

Guess no one knew the answer to this.

For the benefit of those that might need to know for future reference; i found out the night before my flight that Air Asia only allow bag drop a maximum of 4 hours prior to departure. Not a big deal though as the check in area was fairly quiet around 5am anyway and bag drop was done in less than 2 mins.
