Scoot - Do you need middle names on booking?

Hello, I've always filled out airline booking forms with whatever it asks. So if it says first name, I just put my first name, not my middle name. I've flown a lot internationally this way. Now I've heard that you should put your first and middle name in the first name spot. I have a couple of International bookings coming up with Scoot without my middle name. Do you think this will be a problem? I can't get a straight answer from their customer service. Thanks!

Middle names are never needed. Neither for Scoot. Nothing to worry about/move on!

There have been reports of people on mainland Chinese airlines denied boarding due to no middle name/passport not matching name on ticket. However, Scoot doesn't seem to have this issue.

I don't think there will be a problem, but as a note of caution, I'd personally add the middle name in the first name column on future bookings, for sometimes there can be airport gate agents who don't want to exercise common sense in regards to these things
