Air Asia's Tony Fernandes dumps Facebook
 

Tony Fernandes has dumped FB after the Christchurch attack. He believes that FB took too long to react regarding the live streaming of the massacre.

"The amount of hate that goes on in social media sometimes outweighs the good," he said in a tweet Sunday. "Facebook could have done more to stop some of this."


I am also OUT.

I used FB during its first year of existence, but exited shortly after because I could already see that the writing was on wrt expectation of personal space and privacy. This is now a concept that my younger cousins have no clue about.

Anyway, I applaud TF. While I realise he isn't loved by everyone, I believe he has an actual moral compass.
