BA Silver Lounge Access @ MLE and CMB [travelling on UL]
Evening everyone.
My wife and I are both Silver and we're flying with SriLankan from MLE to CMB and CMB to BKK. Are there any lounges that we're allowed to use at both of these airports? I have googled it and can't find a conclusive answer. Thank you! |
There is one lounge at MLE for OneWorld that you'll be able to use - Leeli Lounge. Food is average (some sandwiches and other things) and they have soft drinks and coffee.
There are three lounges for OneWorld in CMB - all pretty poor in terms of food quality - though at least two of them do have alcohol. |
We did this in December - you can use the Leeli Lounge which is reasonable. It does get quite busy and if you need to charge phone/iPad not many plug sockets were working. |

Actually there are five lounges in CMB. Three are used by "other" airlines and are on the main "strip" to the gates. Entry is normally by voucher only.
UL's lounge on the main floor (before the gate hallway) is business class only. UL has another one next to the transit hotel (2nd floor) which OW elites can use. One is Serendib and one is Serendiva.... Happy wandering Fred |
