Business Class Award Availability on Vietnam Airlines Using Skymiles
 

Does anyone have any idea what the release patterns are for VN business class award availability using Delta Skymiles?

I need two seats on a particular flight I’m looking at and Expertflyer shows O1 despite the cabin being relatively empty. I’m wondering if more space will open up closer to departure? Thanks.

May draw blanks on this one here on this question. The lack of a US flight has made VN an afterthought for many of us US DL milers.

Might try searching EF for various dates. I.E., search 1 week from now, 1 month, 3 months ... See if you can find a pattern.

I've only ever tried once to use Skymiles on VN flights, and the availability for 2ppl in business was pretty good. SGN flights seemed a lot more open than HAN flights, but closer in to departure, the HAN flight that I actually wanted opened up so I changed from a connection via SGN.
