AirAsia Tune Protect Insurance
 

I’d be interested to hear what people’s experience, either good or bad, has been with recovering on Tune Protect Travel Insurance for AirAsia. We are a family of 5 with insurance, which I see provides up to $200 per person for missed connections. Due to an early retimed flight and AirAsia’s refusal to allow me to take a different flight, I have a slightly less than one hour connection at DMK going domestic to international on one record locator. I’m fearing a missed connection and, with only one connecting flight a day, an unwanted overnight stay in Bangkok. Will this insurance really pay if I miss the connection? The itinerary is HKT-DMK-KIX.
