Comparison : China Southern v China Eastern
Looking for your opinions.
I'm deciding on a Biz booking with either of these 2. Price and timing very good on both.
Travelling out of Europe to Asia, via their hub (CAN or PVG).
Southern schedule a 332 and Eastern a 767, for the long haul European segment (it's overnight - a nap will be required). Both use 320's for the Asian hop.
If your words include "dodge them both", my next choice Carrier is $500 more expensive.
Thanks

If MU flies a new 33E (not 332 or 333) full flat biz, I would go with them. They are in my opinion now better than CZ, especially in long haul business. Better service whilst hardware is the same as CZ's 332s.
If MU really flies a 767 to Europe - do not book that one. Comfortable recliner seats, but certainly nothing for overnight flights. (Where in Europe do they fly a 767 to, by the way?)
CZ 332s are fully flat business seats and a very good choice. CZ has more AVOD options than MU - which I don't care about much, though.
Overall, MU and CZ (full-flat business flights) are a lot better than all other European carrier business classes.

Not all CZ 332s have seats that full flat beds (as in horizontal.) They have at least one with seats that are the slanted flat type, which flew DXB-CAN last Wednesday. (Personal experience! ). While certainly not the best, I was able to sleep for about 4-5 hours in it.

330 = angled
332 = full-flat.
SVO is 332, so is the rest of Europe (CAN, AMS, LHR).
DXB is 330.
MU apparently really now flies 767 to SVO; I would not do this.

FWIW, I am pretty sure that the aircraft I was on from DXB was a 330-200.

Of course, other sites may use other abbreviations.
DXB, which I happen to eye as award ticket, is an unrefurbished 330-200, so a 330.
