Sounds like I'll have to use the AC MLL... I like the NZ lounge, wish it were that one.
Yes, it's the AC lounge. The NZ lounge is closed already unfortunately.
The AC lounge food offering is pretty paltry.
There's only 1 hot food(soup) from what i remember, and it's not that good.
Also they close and ask you to get out around boarding time.

All of Air China's service to FRA seems to be operated by 777-300ERs nowadays. Does anyone know if these flights also feature the new first class? The seatmap looks the same...

I have a bit of question. I just booked my CA first class ticket from LAX to PEK and back. Both flights between LAX and PEK should have the new F, am I correct? Since this is the award ticket, I wonder if I'm entitled for a free BMW escort at PEK??

Thank you!

I will be flying from LAX to PEK on CA984 for December 2013 on lst class. I have reserved Seat 1L.

Would this be a good seat or should I book 1A or 2A?

book something in row 2. That way not too close to the front or the rear (galley and or toliets at front and back).

Bar?

Hard to tell from the limited pictures out there, but what kind of "bar" is on-board...is it simply a shelf of liquor that first and business passengers can help themselves to, or is there a place to sit and be served by a flight attendant like on VirginAtlantic?

Just a standard bar that you need to serve by yourself, nothing special, certainly not like Virgin Atlantic, however you can ask flight attendant to serve you if you like.
