Transfer time at KLIA from CX to MH Domestic
 

Hi,
I have a CX flight ex HKG arriving at KLIA and an MH flight to PEN leaving 70 min later.

I know I can check my bags through, but is this enough time for a transfer?

What process do I have to go through at KLIA?

As long as you are transiting within KLIA itself and not dealing with the completely separate LCC terminal building (which with CX and MH you shouldn't be), then KLIA transit is very easy and 70 minutes is a generous amount of time if everything is on time. Depending on arriving vs departure gates, you may have to take a quick (free) light rail link between two KLIA (main and satellite) terminal buildings. I vaguely recall another quick security check done as you enter the gate waiting area, it was pretty painless. IMO, KLIA is one of the easier airports in Asia to transit through, though it doesn't have the sort of extensive facilities and shopping as SIN does, it is adequate.

The light rail link between the satellite and main terminals are down for maintenance until mid March. They are using bus temporarily to transfer passengers between the two terminal buildings.
