Hi guys its me again on another Air China trip PEK-DEL Business Classon a 767 this time (the new business was great other than the quite bizarre drinks selection)
anyone done this route?
My questions:
(1) how's the food? Can I preorder an air Chiba chinese meal like you can on PEK FRA?
(2). Can I get limo service on arrival on this flight?
Thanks in advance....

Can't comment on the food, but food preorder is limited to JFK and FRA routes only, and limo service is only offered in PEK and SHA on routes with new business and first class.

I was reading Air China amenities for first and business. they listed limo service and accomodation.
If i redeem award for first, will in be eligible for those? anyone with experience?

This service does not apply to passengers holding free tickets or mileage redemption tickets.

You could always call in and ask, but the answer is likely to be 'no'.

SIN-PEK
Anyone have experience/thoughts about the SIN-PEK flights? I have two tickets booked in J, and am wondering how Air China is.

I've done the reverse PEK-SIN in J, in a 767. One of the more uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in. Food and service was competent though, actually quite good. Dont recall any AVOD but this was a night flight and (attempted) sleep was more important. This was in 2010 so not that recent. If I had to pay for a ticket I would also probably save my funds and book SQ in Y...or another non-Chinese alternative in J if you can tolerate a connection.

What aircraft's operating your flight?
jiejie, I believe they've [finally] phased out their 767s and are gradually replacing them and the 772s on regional flights with the A330s. http://airlineroute.net/2012/03/21/ca-767-mar12/
Not sure about the OP's flight but this - http://airlineroute.net/2012/02/10/ca-s12update3/ seems to suggest that the 2 PEK-SIN daily nonstops are now operated by the A330-300, so if it's an A330, J is decent.

CA's 330s are really nice. If they are using them on this route at reasonable times, I wouldn't hesitate to give them a try (in Y or C), but SQ Y is quite good.

SIN-PEK this Monday morning CA976 in J
I will let you know how it goes, I will be getting off a BNE-SIN SQ J a few hours before (If only SQ could have got me home, but they were full for the return and CA was the only ones with connections) Seat 11L, say Hi if you're on the same flight.
Actually, while I am on here, does anyone know about lounge access in SIN based only on this flight (my *G has not arrived yet as SQ retros on VA should be phoned in if you don't want to wait 3 months (found out today when I called to say it had been soooo long))
All I can get out of the *A site is Thai Silk Lounge when I use their lounge finder, but when I look at the Lounge list for Terminal 1, it shows SATS Premier for Air China. I was just wondering if there was a J lounge to go with my CA J ticket?

The SATS lounge I believe is just CA's 'official' contract lounge (I think cost per entry for CA is lower) but it's not your only choice.

When holding a J ticket with any Star Alliance carrier, you can visit any of the Star Alliance-operated lounges (SQ SilverKris Lounge in T2 and T3 included). The 3 main terminals are Changi at connected by airside train and there's no security in between, so you don't necessarily have to stay in Terminal 1 where CA departs from.

SQ KrisFlyer Gold lounge is far inferior to the SilverKris Lounge. It's only slightly better than the public areas at SIN, and is reserved for lowly *Gs flying Y.
