Victor, its CEO, named in $30 million RICO lawsuit by private jet.com

Seems privatejet.com had licensed its website to Victor and they never paid fees but used the money they owed to Private Jet Dot Com to boost revenue and attract investors according to the lawsuit. If true, doesn't sound good. I've had a couple quotes from them, but they were slow to follow up answering questions.

U.K.-based on-demand online private jet charter broker Fly Victor Limited is being sued for $30 million by Delaware-based Don’t Look Media, LLC. The lawsuit stems from a 2015 licensing agreement that enabled it to use the URL privatejet.com to generate leads it would then convert to bookings.

It’s the second time the domain has been in the news. In 2012, a press release announced Nations Luxury Transportation, LLC, had agreed to acquire the address from Don’t Look Media Group for $30.18 million in cash and stock, although that transaction apparently never took place. At the time, it was thought to be a record price.

...

The lawsuit claims Victor failed to pay licensing fees, didn’t run stipulated pay per click campaigns via Google, and failed to make legally required disclosures putting the defendant at risk for potential fines from the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration. Because of the latter, it alleges the Defendants’ actions have created liability of fines that can run up to $32,000 per day.

...

It accuses Jackson, Victor and others of stealing revenues generated through leads procured by PrivateJet.com; the manipulation of corporate financial statements to lure investors and potential investors for purposes of acquiring capital infusions; illegally laundering unpaid remunerations and investor capital infusions, as well as a plan to destroy privatejet.com’s brand and value.

It looks like it's regarding the same matter. Some kind of a deal gone bad between the two.

After filing a lawsuit in June seeking $30 million from U.K.-based private jet charter broker Victor and its founder Clive Jackson over the privatejet.com domain, Don’t Look Media, LLC (DLM), and Louis Spagnuolo have filed a second lawsuit.

This time DLM is seeking $3 million. It alleges Jackson and others of “publicly and falsely accusing it of criminal behavior, and thereby destroying its business’ reputation.”

....

In an email to Private Jet Card Comparisons, Clark added, “We believe Jackson’s actions represent desperate extrajudicial measures to silence the truth, taking on a new level of deceit by fabricating a false and deceptive defamatory statement. Jackson and fellow conspirators decided to fraudulently draft a statement by the law firm Clyde & Co., legitimizing their claims, in an attempt to defame Plaintiffs in the suit. This behavior we believe raises many legal and ethical questions for Clyde & Co, which we intend to vigorously investigate and pursue. My clients have suffered tremendous humiliation and disrepute and intend on vigorously pursuing justice.”

What is happening here now, I just read the Telegraph article?

"BP’s multimillion-pound green investment into “the Uber of private jets” is at risk of being wiped out after the airline's parent company crashed into administration."
