VistaJet?

I've been recommended VistaJet. Does anyone have an opinion on them?

It's very high end service. They own their own aircraft - all Bombardier -- I think a combination of Challengers and Globals - so all SuperMid and Large jets. I think their standard catering includes Nobu. They are very good if you are doing TPACs and TATLs because they don't have ferry fees.

Very high end experience with very high pricing.

Nothing against them if you want to pay the price, but can probably get 95% of the experience (and just the same safety record) for 25+% lower price through managed aircraft.

They are really the best. Yes, you are paying for that experience but at end of the day compared to how much junk is out there...It is refreshing to find a company that cares. All 2014+ Challenger 350, Global 5000 and 6000 fleet.

From what I can gather they're around $15,000/hr for TATL compared to around $17,000/hr for NetJets and around $13,000/hr for FlexJet. Also you can't charter on NetJets or FlexJet like you can on VistaJet and I believe the VistaJet Global is superior to the NetJets/FlexJet Gulfstream G450 that you'd be flying here (but I could be wrong).

Flex has 650s and NetJets has Globals - but they are only part of their fractional and lease programs - so at least 100 + hours and 2 years commitment.

Vistajet has something they call the Vistajet Program - i think it starts 50 hours and i think the benefit is no ferry fees and fixed hourly rates so you know what you are going to pay. They also have a priority charter program. I believe the way it works is there is a 50k deposit and then you go to the app and it will show you any jets available in the next 72? hours - I think the idea is that you can get good rates for any RT in the next 72 hours since they don't expect that plane to be used during the period - so better than keeping it on the ground. Not sure if that fits your needs - but might be an option to look at. 50k for VistaJet is like a ow LA to NY

At $15k/hour you're paying for the empty leg home in the hourly.

What routing, aircraft type, and price are you seeing?

flyplanet9.com is another operator that will charter TATL and owns all of their aircraft. Are there any that fall into this category besides Planet9 and VistaJet? I'm seeing about $11,500/hr from Planet9.

I think in terms of figuring price you also have to let us know whether what the all-in trip quote is - there are so many variables. It might make sense to just reach out to Vistajet and Planet9 and get the quotes for your trip - including any ferry fees and extras -- It's very hard to 'compare' charter rates until you get actual quotes for your actual dates.

These numbers are based on actual quotes from each company.

They are all-in quotes divided by the number of hours flown.

Without an exact route and type of aircraft, it's impossible whether to say those are terrible or fantastic deals (e.g. leaving from LA-area vs. midwest, and G-IV vs. G-IVSP vs. G450 vs. G-V vs. G550 I would expect very different all-in hourly rates)

I'm sorry if I gave a different impression but I don't mean to ask whether or not these are good deals. I'm just trying to make an apples-to-apples comparison between different operators. For privacy I'd rather not specify my route here.

you could specify time zone for distance purposes

quite a few on FT fly at this level, but thats not what gets most post activity

hopefully this forum will get more diverse activity as time goes on

at $17k/hr you might also check emirates private a319
