Not sure what they fly on, but $100 to go from Concord to Burbank. Too bad nothing from SJ except for the Montana flight

I like that we can find out about alternative jet travel, I'd never heard of JetSuite. Now I have another possible way of getting from Southern California to the Bay Area.
I would have never seen a thread about JetSuite because there is no forum dedicated to alternate airline travel. I think TalkBoard has become a bit pedantic arguing about the potential merit of adding a forum and the correct category. It costs nothing to add and serves as a place to attract or eyes to see ads, whats the problem? Suggestion, add the forum, if nobody uses it, delete it. |
if there is huge thread about avoiding commercial airport terminals, that would show demand for forum to TB
jetsuitex getting US permissions is big news if jetsmarter shuttles successful, may see expansion / others do it delta private jets may be able to offer more than just upgrades 'big news' kind of similar to signature getting UK permission to use general aviation terminal at LGW for passengers on commercial flights (only 2nd in UK after LHR, which is very expensive) another company plans similar offering at LAX, would be first in US re jetsmarter, cant recall, are they one of the companies offering splitting of charters? and has anyone happened to ask jetsmarter (or any others) about NY-DC shuttles? |

You should make your opinions known in the appropriate thread in the Talk Board Topics forum.

Probably worth opening a separate thread on this. One of the things that TalkBoard has been considering is whether or not to have a forum dedicated to alternate airline travel. And this is somewhat separate from JetSmarter.
(I do have to ask, however, that we try to stay on topic and limit the metadiscussion around TalkBoard and forum creation.) Thanks. :) /JY1024, TravelBuzz co-moderator |

jetsuitex (multiple flights a day selling seats) is not jetsuite (charter)
all general aviation etc threads die on FT because no dedicated forum

Brett Snyder did a story this week on JetSuiteX. Check it out:
http://crankyflier.com/2016/04/07/me...thing-awesome/ http://crankyflier.com/2016/04/21/a-...-135-interior/ I like what I see, but being on the right coast, it will be a while before I (might just) see it here. |
