I sort of wonder what the providers think about JetSmarter. Enough of them have left the empty leg program (e.g. DPJ in the US, Air Hamburg in Europe) that it can't be a phenomenally amazing deal. And interestingly, most of their own shuttle providers don't provide empty legs from their other charter business, which strikes me as odd.
Yes... And because of that it's really hard to plan anything (I invited many times some friends and +/-6 hours before the flight, my aviation specialist told me that the flight was cancelled by the operator. I was really in a awkward position. Invoice accepted but flight not confirmed - I thought that the invoice meant that the flight was confirmed but it wasn't..)

That's a good point ! Maybe they're trying to negotiate empty leg prices too much.

Last year JetDeals were really exciting in Europe, Paris-Moscow in Legacy 650, London - Rome in Legacy 600,.. You can see that now JetDeals in Europe are now super limited.. I'm sure that at least 30-40% of actual members won't renew. I'm still hesitating for my part, it's a great value for sure, but the membership comes with big deceptions too.

That happened to me all the time last year (2016) in the US, to the point where I was strongly considering cancelling. The number of disclaimers I had to offer my friends was huge. From 2017 onward, I've had only one unrecovered cancellation. More reliable than United. :-P

I'm pretty sure that when the invoice is confirmed by you, and payment is received ( if any ), they are obligated to provide transportation. Maybe the rules are different over there, but that's what the law says here.

That sucks as an experience though; I wouldn't blame you for thinking about cancelling.

One has to wonder if things are on the way out at JetSmarter? London-Dubai cancelled, London-Istanbul cancelled (no shuttles in Turkey scheduled beyond June 9), Hamptons helicopter shuttles cancelled this season, several empty leg carriers pulling out. Wish the company were more transparent with the changes.

Hahaha lucky you then ! They told me that even if the invoice is confirmed, the operator have the right to cancel the flight up to 6 hours before the flight (in Europe)

Yes it's really frustrating..

Apparently the flights to LA from NYC now cost $800 in surcharges. Plus the helicopter is now over 60% more...... $395 instead of $250 and before that it was free. This weeks changes definitely for the worse.

Also no longer accepting American Express. Talk about a luxury service. They're really diving into the sofa cushions for change at this point.

All helicopter shuttles have been discontinued indefinitely. No longer an option in the app.

Just got this:

To account for the change and to thank you for continued business, we are launching a voluntary deposit program with some additional perks we think you will enjoy. Here’s how it works:
When you make a $50,000-$100,000 deposit into your JetSmarter account, we’ll deposit an additional five percent as extra funds to fly.
For deposits between $101,000 and $200,000, we’ll add seven percent.
For deposits over $200,000, we’ll add 10 percent.
In addition to these extra savings and a streamlined booking process, our deposit program also includes:
Industry-Leading Safety Guarantee: Every charter operator will carry a ARG/US Gold rating or better and be Wyvern registered.
Quarterly Travel Analysis: Upon request, we’ll supply you with a detailed overview of your booking history for simplified record-keeping.
Dedicated Aviation Specialist: For anything you need, they will be available to you 24/7.
Please give me a call, and we can talk through any questions you may have.
