Private Message Spam?
 

There is a new user with zero posts leaving messages for me via private message. A message was also left on my profile. As best I can tell they aren't SELLING anything, but I still have no idea who this person is either. Here is the content of one of the messages:

Is anyone else getting these? Where is the appropriate place to investigate issues with PM, since these don't fall within the scope of normally moderated forums?

I didn't get any PM from this person. I did, however, in the past received two PM/email from zero post count FTers who want to buy/sell miles. I consider them spammers and brokers.

I would think you can either report to Technical Issues Forum or contact one of the Senior Mods. They should be able to look into this issue for you much quicker than Randy. ;)

Ah, yes. That is what I was looking for and must have overlooked it. I shall post there!

... and activating the 'ignore' feature should (I hope so) also 'ban' them from mailing you again.

I didn't got PM but if I connect via my Shanghai IP address, I see adds in this forum for massage service in Shanghai. I found it strange and not appropriate but ignored it.

This kind of adds should not be allowed here.
