We need a better wreath! :)
It looks likes its just pasted on top of the LOGO. :D In short, it looks odd.
Mebbe design it into the LOGO? Or have the yellow part of the LOGO go thru the actual hole in the wreath...??? Jingle, jingle. :D And Merry Christmas to ya Randy! |
oops! using and loving FT Primo or whatever, so have no advertising.
And no wreath. Waaahhhh! |
you have way too much time on your hands. the wreath is fine ... :)
i've got ft primo & i see the wreath... |
Can we add some Christmas lights to the side? :)

I still think it looks like a stuck-on pastie. That's prolly b/c the hole in the wreath 'covers up' a bit of the underlying yellow that should show thru. Graphic artist (or lack of one) in me I guess... Seems visually odd to have blank space cover the yellow.
But pasties and lights? Oh boy! :D |
It does look like it's floating... but I like it! ^
|
But where is the Kwanza stick?
How about the Festivus Pole? |
I agree it looks odd. But the most outrageous thing is that NOWHERE does it reference Christmas! I am appalled. :P
|
I turned on FT this morning and saw the wreath and thought "now that's cool" ..... and a half hour later saw this thread.
Sheeessh. Hey, I like the wreath a lot better than the Olive Oil and Popeye stick heads next to it -- a year or so later and they still look weird to me. ;) (I know, I know, all about the research etc. However they still look weird to me.) Let's stick the wreath around both their necks is my vote. :D) |

But pasties and lights? Oh boy! :D In other words, the pixels of the defined edges of the FlyerTalk logo, if one looks at it closely, are somewhat “blurred” where the color from one side of a defined edge blends into the color on the other side of a defined edge. That is not happening in the wreath, where the edges look pixelated and have no “blur” whatsoever. A minute or two of simple minor adjustments in Adobe Photoshop will correct this problem. |

So I'm now thinking two minutes in Photoshop as mentioned - and perhaps a lowering of the wreath by 1/16-1/32 of an inch - so that the green covers the yellow as it circles around - will fix the visual problem. Happy Holidays, all. |
Well if you really want to see an ugly wreath, you could take a look at the handrawn Xmas tree, wreath, snowman, manorrah on my holiday letters (holiday phrase chosen years before the PC controversy this year ;) ! )
I say leave the wreath alone & get back to travel posting, or are you trying to pad your posts to get to 6K tvl4free :D Cheers. |
NM i was beat to it.
what about chrismauka? |
