There is an attempt to organize a Chicago Cubs DO for the weekend of August 11-13th this year in Denver when the Rockies host.

We (ElmhurstNick, ILuvParis and I) are in the process of organizing the DO. (what was I thinking? :D ) I am not sure if you and the staff at the HOM are aware of this so I am creating this thread for that purpose. We are looking into group discount when we get a better idea of head count. Please let one of us know if the staff at the HOM would be interested in attending. Thanks.

Actually everyone's hoping you & crew will attend because while the game will be exciting (uh, who actually watches?), a drinking, er...bonding, w/ you & MrsRandy & the HOM group would be very cool. Cheers.

So hard to predict that far in advance but if in town this sounds like fun though I AM more of a Sox fan than a Cubbie - owning to my time spent living on the south side of Chicago (Orland Park and Blue Island) in my checkered past (!).

For the purposes of planning, put me or "my representatives" down for two and i will challenge you all to eating peanuts, Cracker Jacks, one brat per inning (an old tradition of mine) and maybe, just maybe a beer or two.
