Great job with the new "Quick Reply" feature. I love it!

Great feature! I love it (and cuts down the time to post since it's one less page you have to load). ^^

I think it's great as well ^^

I noticed that there's a check box for showing signatures - are those coming back too?

I like the quick reply function but have one fear of it: That people will start using the "quote" part which will automatically quote the entire original post. If this becomes problematic will it be possible to keep the quick reply but eliminate the possibility to quote with it?

Why is this problematic?

It is not with short quotes -- in fact, I am doing it right now. However, if people start reposting (quoting) very long posts in their entirely it will become very annoying.

Even before this feature some people have done that instead of just quoting the applicable sentences, and quite a few other posters have expressed their displeasure.

It has never been a real issue, and I don't see why it will become an issue now. Methinks someone is inventing a problem where there is none.

Scott, I indeed hope that I am inventing a problem where there is none. However, as the new feature does not allow selected quotes, but requires that the entire post be quoted, I am concerned that we may see more threads containing repeated long posts.

For some posters, could we please have a button for Really, Really Slow Reply?

;)
