Sucker777,

Since I closed your original thread (and thought I gave the reason why) let me take accountability for answering the second question.

Overall, we have had a policy of NOT allowing meta-discussions of moderator and Randy's actions and policies in the particular travel forums. Those are best left first in private messages between the parties involved or - if you truly believe a public discussion is warranted - here in Only Randy Petersen.

This is especially true when you are questioning Randy Petersen's policy decisions and his Terms and Conditions for participation on Flyertalk in general or Coupon Connection specifically.

I hope that further explains my reason for closing that CC thread and asking you to repost here if you felt you needed a public response.

William

Actually, I'd prefer if the author of the orginal thread would repost the question. I don't mind answering it at all. I sense it is something about Coupon Connection.

Question please?

P.S. Drat, just as i'm on a roll my discussions disappear.

Randy,

Here is the original thread that brought up the issue:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...eferrerid=3030

It is in Coupon Connection.

As I've pointed out elsewhere (see post 26 of this thread, from more convivial times), this passage is generally misinterpreted (or perhaps "misquoted" would be a better term) by those who haven't read or don't remember the play. :D

I have to admit I am not quite sure why a post of mine gets the "Kill the lawyers" comment.

Criminey, William, it's the OP. Not exactly in the vulgate, if you know what I mean and I think you do (apologies to Joe Bob Briggs). ;)

And, no personal offense intended to our FT counsellors.

Maybe I should change the " :) " to :D :D :D :D :D
