MR Forum

The MR Forum is getting more and more threads like "Any good MRs out there?" "Can someone help me with a MR?" I understand people are looking for help, but I honestly think that threads started by people who haven't done any research, or don't post what research they've done so far, should simply be DELETED. Most of these posts get very few replies anyway. Deleting threads with no value = productivity improvement for FT membership.

Alternatives
  • Start a separate forum for people who are looking for help putting together their MRs
  • Post a notice at the top of the MR page that tells people (politely) to do research before posting and to include their initial findings first.

Better yet, let's hire death squads to gun down anyone who makes a post you don't like!

Perhaps you should read the forum a little better yourself?

That announcement has been there for well over a month.

haha.. yep Scotty. I deserve to get flamed on that. :D I actually remember reading that post when it first came out... forgot it was up there. I guess the moderator will get to it soon and delete it.

This thread can probably be closed now. Any chance we can delete it so I can deny I ever posted it? :D

That will not be necessary, Need A Beach.

That announcement expires on December 31, 2008.

Simply “bump” this thread up on January 1, 2009...
