Independence Air

Randy - can we have a new forum for this airline and take it out of the UA forum (since they are now competitors). Thanks

I believe it has been posted that the Talkboard has this under consideration.

Spiff was going to report that the TalkBoard considered this request and tabled it. For all I know, he may have done so in Town Hall.

The majority of TalkBoard members suggest posting anything having to do with Independence Air to the Other North & South American Airlines forum.

If they get a lot of traffic there or formulate an affinity program, we'd be glad to reconsider it at a later date.

Other than that, it looks as if the moderators of the United forum have taken matters into their own hands and started moving any new Independence Air threads to the aforementioned forum, which practice I personally would support to continue.

Sincerely,

Good point. That definitely was one of the criteria the TalkBoard was looking for. Next, when they begin to get a delirious number of posts in the "Other North & South American Airlines forum, we'll consider it again.

Until then, I apologize for using the "or" instead of the "and" in the above statement as it definitely misrepresented what the TalkBoard was seeking.

Sincerely,

This is unfortunate... and certainly goes against past practice.

JetBlue got a forum BEFORE they announced their affinity program.

It seems obvious that Independence Air will have many customers...

I hope Randy reconsiders and gives them their space. Otherwise, people will continue posting in United... and cause more work for those moderators.

William
