I am glad to see that some people liked my rules of thumb that I made, thanks.

I did ask this question, and Randy commented that he had no visited the S.P.A.M. concept in a while.

Those are just my suggestions, the final decision should come from Randy.

I made those up, because there was some bickering going on on what should go in OMNI and SPAM. Having the luck of moderating both, that was the best solution I could come up with at the time.

Well, I for one as a regular SPAM reader would appreciate it if posters stuck to the rules that are currently listed -- sites for Points and alternative Miles. I read it for MyPoints, Opinion Place, and things like this thread, where a non-regular reader of an busy airline forum can take advantage of a contest or survey.

As has been pointed out on recent SPAM threads (such as this one), there are plenty of other websites with listings of free products. Please keep them off of SPAM and keep it true to its listed intent.

I.e., one vote against jfe's interpretation.

Well, why not create a forum for all this freebies?

Like I said, I am happy either way, as long as we are consistent on our practices.

I just moved a thread to the new forum from SPAM, so we can keep things organized.

Who's you-know-who? I once knew a Mr. Yu No Hu but I doubt it's him.
