Bathurst's commercial postings

A new member by the name of "Bathurst" has posted messages 13 times. Each of these has been an advertisement for a supposed travel agency in the Netherlands. Besides the fact that this is a violation of the TOS and that he has been warned by the moderators, he continues to post advertisements for his Web site (most of the content from the Web site has been plagiarized from other companies).

I think someone should give him a good talking to or delete his account. I'm tired of clicking on threads (I only look at the topics, not the posters) and finding out that they're actually ads.

His current ad is titled "We have unveiled or new Livery" and is in MilesBuzz.

Thanks

d

(edited to add location of current ad)

IMNSHO, the offending content should also be removed.

This is true. And this is just my opinion, but one of the things that makes FT such a strong on-line "community" are it's members who get all over these bad apples and keep things in check.

As you can see, not only did our moderator close the thread (right decision) but i went in and altered the commercial post link so that even in infamy the person won't get traffic from the thread.

Well done Randy!

Great work everyone.

You almost got it! There is still mention of the questionable link since chennaibug included it in their reply.

Why not go ahead and take the next logical step and put this poster on FT time-out or termination? The commercial posts are bad enough, but if I read this post ( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum.../006387-2.html ) correctly he/she is now condoning fraud.
