Congratulations, Randy, on Batting .400!

While the magic number of 400,000 visits is still a few clicks away, I want to congratulate you (before I board still another AA flight this afternoon) on batting .400. This achievement is especially fitting during this first week of the 2001 Major League Baseball season. Thanks very much, Randy, for providing a forum from which I glean valuable information and derive great enjoyment every day.

I don't quite understand what Randy is batting 2 for 5 in? Batting .400 certainly would get you into the Baseball Hall of Fame, but would a basketball player get into Hoops Hall of Fame if they shot 40% from the FreeThrow (excluding Shaq )???

Maybe I am just confused and it is a congratulations on an upcoming 400kth post.

Right above the list of topics on the main screen, you will find on the right a line that reads: "Total topics: xx,xxx | Total posts: yyy, yyy"

but just like in many sports, it's a team effort, and I am but a very small part of the 400,000 plus posts. BTW, this is a very significant amount of information. It's larger than both Yahoo! and AOL bulletin boards in the area of business travel. Thanks goes to all registered users of FlyerTalk. But as I've mentioned many times, this board is less about the number of posts than it is the quality of information. I have no doubts that there isn't a frequent flyer or business travel question in the world that can't be answered by at least one person on this board - and in fact, it's likely that the question could be answered by several FlyerTalkers....

Thanks Randy...

You have a "winner" here that will be around for a long, long time! Your creation and my fellow posters have made FlyerTalk a "must visit" on a daily basis for me...and the quality of information I have received on FlyerTalk has literally saved my family, friends and myself thousands and thousands of dollars in travel expenses.

God bless you!

Another milestone will be reached later today or early tomorrow when 450.000 clicks will be reached. Congratulations Randy for creating this great forum.

This should be #450,079 or so. The milestone was passed sometime this afternoon!
