Adding an Amtrak guest rewards forum
 

I know Amtrak just started thier program, but I would like to see an Amtrak forum.

I'm sure many of you use the Acela to got to Washington DC and NYC now that it is running

Not a bad idea, particularly if it pans out as a truly successful program. So far it has lots of announced partners, but not many details!

Yes, I guess. I think Eurostar/SCNF has a simmilar program, which could possibly also be included.

Also there's VIA Préférence, run by Canada's national rail system.

It makes sense as we actually had a forum for the orginal Amtrak program that they introduced for Metroliner passengers years ago in the first incarnation of FlyerTalk. Let me consider where and how it may begin to live on FT. Thaqnks for the suggestion. I'm going to take a short DC-NYC trip on Amtrak over the holidays simply to get active in the program so i know what i may be talking about......The only thing I don't know yet is if it is a frequent "rider" or frequent "railer" program.......

I'm also going to be taking a trip on the Acela just to check out the service, etc. We should both post trip reports about the experience, etc.
