Freddie Awards in April ???
Hi Randy,
May I know when is the actual date of the Freddie Awards to be held in which hotel, and which place? You did mentioned in your Oct issue of less members voting/attending the function due to holidays, and winter. I am for the event to change from Jan to Apr as I have a hard time going to NY especially during Winter months.
I am also trying to book an award ticket and also try to use hotel awards early once Freddie event is confirmed as I am sure once the event is change to a better date, I will have a hard time getting freebies as most Flyertakers will come for this Spring event.

We haven't even started to look at hotels yet but will probably start that process in the next month or so, trying to decide on a hotel chain we haven't hosted it in yet. However, if you want to come and are using a free award and have a problem, i will personally plead your case to the proper authorities to see that you can go and come as you wish, heck, it is the Freddies we're talking about here. And as you might know, this is the first year that both the international and the Americas Freddies are being combined.....should be a real blast.
Also a news update: USA Today is joining us this year as a co-sponsor of the Freddies.....we're extremely thrilled.

Keep in mind - the second largest US trade show/conference - NAB - is April 21-26th 2001.
