Missing posts???????????????

I made (or thought I made) a post the other day regarding trains in Paris. When I went back to check the answers, the post was gone, together with at least one answer. For a while I thought maybe I had just imagined the post and then I saw an answer.

What's the scoop? Have I been censored? Is the new platform anti-punki? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Punki

I saw your post yesterday and even replied to it by refering you here:
http://www.sncf.fr/indexe.htm

When I checked back today I noticed that MY post was missing as well!!
If there's anyone else out there being censored - speak up. We need to organize against this injustice!

Punki,

I also responded to your SNCF question under 'Driving in France?' (it's still there). Something strange is happening because I sent a reply to Library Dragon yesterday, but 20 min later it vanished and I had to re-post.

I also lost a post - was there - than was not.
I would guess that it has a lot to do with the upgrade work at FT http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/confused.gif

Hmmmm...not sure what's happening here. Can you guys give me a little more information about "where" you posted it, etc? That way I'll have a place to go to start tracking down the problem. The exact title or as close as you can get me would be important as well...if at all possible.

I would also appreciated it if you would please post this sort of topic in the "FlyerTalk Technical Problems" area. That's the area I consistantly check for this sort of information. FlyerTalk is simply far to big for one or two people to scour looking for signs of trouble and I can't help you if I don't have feedback from you.

Lastly, there is no censoring on this Bulletine Board if we can help it. Our first step would be to contact the individual in question, ( discreetly ), and discuss a given situation with them personally before we would consider doing anything even remotely resembling censorship so you can all rest easily.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Michael,

I have only noticed one of my posts disappearing. It was this last Tuesday (the 16th) in the United forum, "UA flights cancelled in pilot dispute" thread. My post was right after avek00's post on the 16th. His is still there but mine disappeared.

Thanks,
Baze

Thank you Baze. I'll look into it. That's very helpful.

Michael,

The missing posts are (were) in General Travel Talk, under "Driving in France?" The question from Punki and response from Vulcan were right after the post from PSU Lion and before my response to Library Dragon, (which is the re-run of the post that vanished on me). Thanks for your help.

Michael:

I seem to be having a problem with my post numbers. On May 10th, one of my posts was #52. May 12th, another post was #50. May 31st, a post was #47. On another topic dated June 5th, it was #50 again. On page 7 of The Buzz-LatinPass Who's Really Going-Replacement, I had 4 different postings over 3 days (June 4-6) and they were all #53. These are just some of my posts. I must be reliving the movie "Groundhog Day". I'm stuck on #53 and will never get to be FT Evangelist until I have traveled everywhere and written a report.
