Status Suggestion
 

In the beginning FFHOUND created the thread. The thread took 7 minutes to make and FFHOUND looked upon the thread and thought "this is rather good".

But then the thread degenerated into a slinging match and much worship was made of the Golden Calf of Status and this caused the flyertalkers to lose sight of the original purpose of Webflyer - namely the collecting of frequent flyer miles (by whatever means).

But then a lone flyertalker emailed FFHOUND and begged that FFHOUND delete the thread from the beginning.

AND FFHOUND looked upon the flyertalkers and their golden calf of status and was displeased.

AND FFHOUND SPAKE and said "Let this thread be deleted from the beginning" and in a fashion not dissimilar to Sodom and Gommorroh the thread was reduced to dust!

And everyone smiled and said "ditto"
