Expedia versus Fiji Air Website for Fare
I know the general advice is to purchase tix directly from the airline. and i almost always do I was using Expedia/Google Flights to get ideas on pricing forom LAX-AUK and then once I determined the best/ flight for our needs, was going to go through the airline website to purchase the tix. When I went to the airine site (Fiji Air), the cost was almost $1500 more for 2 BZ seats. What is everyone's experience that has seen this before, Expedia seems to be pretty reputable and I know if there are issues, then I need to deal with Expedia, but $1500 is $1500.
Thanks. |
I agree. That significant saving is way too much to justify booking directly with the airlines.

FJ does not fly to AUK but AS does :) A map from the Great Circle Mapper - Great Circle Mapper Carefully check both LAX-NAN and NAN-AKL are business class. FJ flight numbers or some codeshare? [AA?] Look at economy fares on the same flights to check if makes sense. The price of 2 seats can be more than twice the price of 1 seat (fare bucket limitations) And currency US$ - NZ$ FJ also flys to WLG & CHC in New Zealand https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...s_destinations |
