Contact for senior manager at Hotwire due to unhygenic, dangerous, unsafe hotel
Hi all,
Can anyone help me with the email address of a named senior individual at Hotwire and Expedia (their parent) please, as I want to make a serious complaint about a US hotel I booked on their site? By private message would be fine if you don't want to share in public. I'm also looking for the email address of someone senior at Choice Hotels who market the property. I'll also be in touch with the local authority in due course.
A bit of context - I'm a confident world traveller who has been to 145 countries and 48 US States and would normally describe my standards for hotels as very low - I don't mind a bad area or stained sheets, hairs in the tub etc but do expect to feel fairly safe. The hotel in question was quite simply the worst I've ever stayed in - disgustingly unhygenic, dangerous and I feared for my safety. The room photographs on Google Maps, Choice Hotels, Hotwire and all other booking sites are nice but they are not of the actual rooms in the hotel, and the wider hotel photos appear at least a decade out of date. Simply, the place should be torn down. Cockroaches and other bugs everywhere, broken flooring, broken door locks, exposed wiring, broken furniture, broken aircon units, mould, damp, sketchy people on the balconies all night, people banging on my door at all hours, prostitution, threatening hotel "staff" when I was taking photos prior to leaving early, no-one allegedly on-site to check me out early, the list goes on. The bed and bath were both disgusting and my feet were black from walking on the room floor which clearly hadn't been mopped in months, I'm also concerned about them keeping my $100 security deposit because I left early and did not (was unable to) check out properly.
Any help to get my complaint to the right place would be much appreciated! I won't name the hotel now as I don't want to harm my case but will update when I get a resolution.
Cheers
