Has anyone successfully price matched a Priceline Express Deal reservation?
I booked a Priceline Express Deal about a month ago. Since then, the hotel price has dropped below the price I paid on Priceline. I have submitted several price match requests, all have been denied for various reasons. I'll spare the details, but the way the customer service reps talk, I get the suspicion that they're not allowed to price match.
So I'm curious, has anyone ever been successful price matching a Priceline Express Deal or if this is just a marketing gimmick.? I don't think it's possible.

I don't think the price match covers subsequent price drops - only if you find it cheaper elsewhere within a certain limited time after making the reservation. Of course PL can't guarantee you that the property doesn't reduce the rates after you have booked. No first hand experience though.
BTW I thought PL Name your own price or Expr. deals were a thing of the past.
