Booking.com Fiasco

Booking.com Fiasco

Made a booking with booking.com the other day and may need to change it, but customer service has been non-existent. They emailed me a confirmation code that is about 20 digits long (supposed to be 10) and an 8 digit pin (supposed to be 4). Without these, I can't do much of anything. I can't get ahold of anyone via phone and the people on email say they can't discuss my booking over email. Any options/suggestions?

Making any reservation with an OTA and changing it afterwards, is asking for troubles. Next time, book directly with the hotel/airlines etc
