Cheapest and Best Business Class Australia to Manchester UK

Hi I am new to this site. Sorry but im quite a novice.

I have never flown Business Class and it's on my Bucket List. I am going home to visit my parents in The UK in 2020 and am traveling from Adelaide Australia.

What is the cheapest and Best way to travel business class round trip.

Regards.

Welcome

adelaide is a fairly limited market for international, essentially youíre looking at Emirates, possibly Qatar or Cathay pacific if you wanted to literally depart Adelaide and arrive Manchester. Malaysia airlines may be able to sell you a 2 stopper with a second change at healthrow as an alternative

have a play at around with google flights- https://www.google.com/flights?hl=en
you can make it flexible on dates and also specify alternate entry points eg it may be cheaper to get yourself to Sydney on any old airline and take the international flight out of there, or alternatively fly into another UK or European port and take a short connecting flight to Manchester- this would potentially be on a separate ticket in which case you would need to save plenty of time

i think you can set up price alerts on google flights as well but not sure

iím not aware of any current sales although I think Qatar had one recently (iím not certain if they fly into Manchester but think they do), qantas usually has a sale around mid December

hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge will come and talk about advance purchase rules- essentially buying the ticket ASAP is usually a bit pricier and there is a sweet spot where prices drop to ďrelatively lowĒ around 6-12 weeks before the flight- iím not sure when that is for business ex-Australia as my booking patterns donít align to it usually

you can also keep an eye on the premium fare deals forum which has helpful stuff from time to time

Hard to say if this is the best forum for you here. There are some online business website discount companies, but too many are operating "illegally" using frequent flyer miles that have been purchased. Be very cautious of this. If you have a specific airline in mind, I can move your post there.

Is there anything on this route using Virgin Atlantic and/or Virgin Australia?

Cheapest and best (best way) will not be the same. Have you checked the prices?
Best will be ADL-XXX-MAN, with a quality airline. As above, 2 of the ME3:- Qatar QR, Emirates EK) could do that, as well as Cathay CX & Singapore SQ.

If you want to/can travel to SYD/MEL and LHR will be more possibilities.

Cheapest business class will be an Asian/Chinese airline
Malaysian from ADL will be an option

Would require domestic flights ADL-SYD & LHR-MAN (train?) for SYD-HKG-LHR on VA/VS
