Ridiculous Priceline glitch and idiotic customer service

I was comparing package prices ATL-ATH. The destination drop-down offered me Athens, GA; Athens, Germany; or Athens Intl. Airport, Greece. Of course, there is no such place as Athens, Germany. So I picked Athens Intl. Airport. And what comes up? First, the website changed the destination field to Athens, Germany. Then--the hotels it pulled up were all in Athens, GA! Even more hysterical is that if you choose one and continue, it will pull up flight choices to Athens, Greece. So you can book a package where you fly to Greece, but your hotel is back in the U.S.

I did an online chat in an attempt to alert PL to this glitch. The responses I received were so stupid, at first I thought it was just a bot. Nope. A person. She kept claiming it was an inventory problem. I explained it four different ways, and each time she refused to believe it was a technical glitch, responding with glib catchphrases about availability. I finally just wrote, "Forward this entire conversation to your technical team."

Pretty sad that Priceline is employing people who have zero understanding of geography (Athens, Germany? Really?) and that can't understand written English well enough to comprehend a simple glitch.
