Has CheapOair changed its marketing philosophy?

It uses to be that CheapOair was the rock-bottom price website - in my case last year, selling me a ticket with one of the segments in the last row, LOL - but now it seems that it has changed to be more upscale, offering discounts while not having the cheapest tickets, at least for the recent trip I booked, where I was able to get a specific flight (the USA inbound segment that had the rare {Western Europe}-MSY route); I got my LED-MSY-LED for $666 at Orbitz while the cheapest I could get with CheapOair was over $800.
