Capital One Venture Card - 10X Miles With Hotels.com Booking

Capital One has what I think is a very good promotion with hotels.com. Here's the link: https://www.capitalone.com/credit-ca...avel-and-miles

Basically, you get 10X miles with each booking - so, if you book a $250 hotel room, you get 2500 miles. Each Capital One mile is worth a penny a mile towards "erasing" travel charged to the card, so the 2500 miles you get on the $250 hotel room is worth $25.

Unlike a lot of the hotels.com promotions, this is combinable with the hotels.com rewards program and any other promo codes you might find out there in the wild. The promotion is good through 1/31/20.

Given that the rewards program gives the equivalent of almost 10% off, with this card you get close to 20% off minimum on all hotel bookings.

There is a free version of the card and a $95 per year version of the card, but the paid version has a new card bonus of 50K miles ($500) for a $3,000 spend in 3 months.

Good program - except, it is good idea first, check prices directly on hotels.com then compare them to the one through CapitalOne.

Is there any news about this program being expanded to vacations or cruises?
