Orbitz error

Hello! On Monday 9th I wanted to make a non-refundable hotel reservation and the system did not allow it. The next day (Tuesday 10) I received an email from Orbitz saying that they had had a system problem and that I could complete my reservation from the previous day through a link (https://www.orbitz.com/trips/XXXX), with a total amount for $ 339.
Today Wednesday 11 I decide to pay this reservation through the previous link and I see that the amount is still $ 339. I buy and then I receive the confirmation, but with an updated amount of $ 536 !! Please help.

It would seem that the best course of action here is to contact Orbitz to fix the problem. I'm not sure what other advice would be appropriate here. Have you tried just replying to their original email with the link?

Also, are you sure that the original $339 rate you saw was the total rate including taxes? Usually they quote the per night/total net rate first and then taxes are added on the confirmation page.

Good idea to answer the email! The previous amount was total (taxes included). Thanks for the suggestion.

Ypu should call them. I had a similar problem and they resolved it.
