Anyone used cheap Business Class sites?
Hi, just wondering if anyone has used companies advertising cheap Business Class flights...some say they offer up to 50% off.
https://www.skyclub.com

Just wondering if you can really get that much off a flight and how they do it? Do they pre-buy the seats or something?

My understanding is that they use ff miles they have purchased from .....who knows where?
They will tell you its all legit.... yet every ff program I know of prohibits such transactions....
I am too risk averse to try it....

Let me point you to my post How do I recognize a scam website? here.
Let's see the sniff tests:
Skyclub: has a legal page. There's no company name anywhere. The domain is registered under privacy guard in whois. The street address is incomplete. Verdict: avoid.
Skyluxtravel: there's a company name and a physical address in the footer but only a privacy policy and no T&C. The domain is registered with a privacy guard in whois. Now that's two red flags so far (no T&C and privacy guard -- what are you protecting??). So we check the California registry and there's no such company! Neither the number, nor the name finds anything. See for yourself: luxury travel and C2119950. Googling "388 Market Street, Suite 1300" finds it's a virtual office. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
business-flights.co.uk at least does not fail the most basic sniff tests, it's a legit company.
You know, before spending thousands of dollars, spend a minute or two to make these searches...
Ps. look at the "members of" row of icons on the Skyluxtravel site, it's absolutely nonsensical, you can't be a member of PayPal for example, but why would a California company be a member of the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies?
