OW London to Hannover
 

I need to go from London to Hannover on business and cannot seem to find any way of getting there by a OW airline. It's all *A. I really wanted to get the TPs and miles on my BA card...

Anyone got any creative suggestions?

You can get a BA codeshare from Manchester to Hannover.

Or fly BA to Hamburg and take the train to Hannover....

I constantly have the same problem. There used to be BA LHR-HAJ, then LGW-HAJ and now nothing. BD has a monopoly on the HAJ-LHR route with absolutely sky high prices. AB flies HAJ-STN but this is of not much use for a transit pax.
OW has completely abandoned HAJ.

Which means I have to get to Manchester, which is a bit of a pain. Checked the fares, 317 pounds just for the return from Hamburg.

Oh well! Looks like it's BD or LX for me, maybe LX from LCY, which means a packed flight to Zurich and from experience, either a really short connection in Zurich or a long wait. Oh well you can't win it seems.

AB is an option I guess but their flights leave so stupidly early in the morning! I will have to get up at something like 5am to make their morning flight to HAJ. So, I think not a very good option. Would rather go with LX then, at least I get miles on my BMI card. AB have their own loyalty system, TopBonus, but it only applies to AB so it's a bit useless unless you only fly with them a lot.
