QF have stopped PER-DPS flights. Now operated by the QF LCC Jetstar subsidary. Jetstar are not a OW airline. MM routes are inputted manually and not always up to date.

This will become more common as airlines reduce capacity.

For example QF are also stopping domestic services in NZ and will use Jetstar

New Zealand
* from 10 June 2009, Jetstar will commence New Zealand domestic services and
Qantas will cease operating its New Zealand domestic network
* Qantas will introduce changes to its trans-Tasman services and flights to the United States from Auckland, increasing frequency and improving connections for international customers, including to New York

China
* Qantas Sydney-Shanghai A330 services will increase to seven per week (daily) from 31 March 2009.
* Qantas Melbourne-Shanghai services (currently two per week) will cease from 31 March 2009.
* Qantas Sydney-Beijing services (currently three per week) will cease from 17 April 2009.

India
* Qantas three-times-a-week Mumbai services will operate via Singapore from mid-May, with connections from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide (Qantas) and Cairns and Darwin (Jetstar)
..
..
..
Mr Joyce said both Qantas and Jetstar were firmly focused on the transition and customers booked on Qantas domestic New Zealand services from 10 June would be contacted and booked on alternate flights.

Qantas will codeshare on the new Jetstar domestic New Zealand service for all customers holding a Qantas international and/or trans-Tasman sector in the same itinerary.

Thanks for the explanation, back to the planing board for my Sept trip.

DPS-HKG-PER would work in your itinerary instead of DPS-PER, would probably just mean hanging round a few hours at HKG .. but you can always get out of the airport and see the sights etc :)

Jetstar runs daily DPS-DRW so you could buy that as a separate ticket and leave it as an open-jaw in the LONE4, then continue the LONE4 with DRW-MEL.

Thanks all, actually I got SIN-PER to work which isn't a bad compromise.

Problem is that once I get into next April no flights show up:confused:

You need to wait a little longer for schedules to be loaded.

Just book a whole set of flights for March next year going where you want to go, and then change time/date (at no fee) later on.

On some routes that can be risky.

In that case I will talk to the AA RTW desk before booking to be safe.

Can't find any thing on OW to get me from LAX-ANC.

ANC-ORD was discontinued a couple of years ago. The DFW-ANC route is seasonal (May-Sept.) so tickets booked now won't be able to show ANC segments for 2010, thus requiring a re-issue downstream. Otherwise ANC is not reachable on OW, except for Global Explorer itineraries which allow the use of AS metal.
