Where'd that danged map go???
I'm planning my first rtw, and have pretty much determined to use *one*. I found the coolest interactive map, contributed by an airline pilot whose call name might start with "K". I neglected to bookmark it and can't find it again. I've used about 50 searches to no avail. Anybody know this map, or suggestions for search term? I'm pretty sure, but not absolutely, that it was in this forum and has been around a while.
I've been wanting to go around the world ever since my mom went first class on Pan Am for $99 back when I was a TWA FA. I don't have time to do it right, so I guess if I muck it up, I'll just have to do it again. Hey if dcstudent can do a RTW in 14 days and have as much fun as he seemed to (see his journey under trip reports), I should be able to do the same. Thanks for your help! To clarify a little: the map has almost all airline routes--you click a city and see the airlines that serve that city, and where you can fly to from that city. Kathy |

I think the OP refers to a tool created by FTer cockpitvisit rather than the one on the oneworld website (the OW one works great by the way).

Thanks guys, you're awesome. Kiwi, that is indeed the map I was looking for. I could, and (guilty grin) do, spend hours playing with it. And LRD, that oneworld map will probably be what I use to plan my route. cockpitvisitor, huh? Well that's almost a "K". Thanks again to both of you!
