On-Line Ticketing Question
 

Assuming I can ticket the following (or any) AONE4 on-line/e-ticket (w/o a phone call), will I be sacrificing AAdvantage miles if the first segment is a carrier other than AA?
(I am AA EXP but this is my first RTW, after 23 years of dreaming of it.)

ICN-HKG-LAX-JFK-DFW-ANC-DFW-LHR-HEL-LHR-DBX-LHR-JNB-HKG/DEL-HKG/ICN.

Also, does it look like I should be on a CX flight w/ its new suites? If not, any suggestions for a change to the itinerary in order to get a CX suite?

What do you mean by sacrificing AAdvantage miles? You will earn AA miles for all oneworld partners (except a few of them e.g. BA, JL, when you do not earn the status bonus miles).

Your question on new F:
ICN - HKG v.v. no old F
HKG - LAX yes
JNB - HKG only seasonal F
DEL - HKG don't think there is F

I'm ok w/ not earning status bonus miles. Just wanted to make sure that the miles awarded are not a function of which airline tickets.
