BA would check your bag through if the situation were reversed, so AA should do this for you at ORD. As far as lounge access is concerned, my interpretation of the rules is that you would be entitled to use the AA Arrivals Lounge in T3 at LHR as well as the BA First lounge in T5, but not the Concorde Room. (You would, I believe, need to go landside for the Arrivals Lounge. Connecting to T5 landside is easy - just take the Heathrow Express from T3 to T5. It's free.)

Clearly, you need to allow plenty of time for the connection, as well as for sampling the delights of the lounge(s). ;)
