Oneworld to TIP
Hey folks, I figured I would ask this question to those in the know as I have had difficulty in find ing any info.
I am relocating to Libya soon and have been looking around at the routings in and out of Tripoli(TIP) it appears that RJ and BA both have regular services there, however I have been looking at somecheap deal sites that are saying that Iberia is flying MAD - TIP from March, however I have been unable to find anything to that effect on an actual OW or IB website. Is anyone else able to find this out or have some inside knowledge? Looks like I will be changing my username soon..... |
I hope you're looking forward to exciting, in-depth discussions with US immigration officers in future ;)
I had a look on ExpertFlyer and there's no trace of any IB flight MAD-TIP in the first half of 2009, presumably if such a flight was happening it would be in the system by now. I also had a quick search of the available fares LON-TIP and some cheap ones were coming up in March for KM (Air Malta), LX (Swiss) and 8U (Afriqiyah Airways, gulp). Not oneworld of course, but hopefully that gives you a starting point. |

The BA fares to Libya can be ok if booking a roundtrip ticket, just avoid singles Dave |
Yeah thanks guys,
I was just hoping that there may have been some more to this IB thing as I don't want to have to be tripping out through AMM or LHR on my weekends off.. Spain is a far more enjoyable destination. I am not worried about LHR-TIP as I will have that route on BA anyway.. I am more concerned about weekend sanity. I might have to have another look around... or get *A! Oh well.. |
